American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She started her career in supporting roles in the teenage comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played reporter Willa McPherson in the FX series Dirt and played a supporting role in the short-lived television series The Ex List. She starred as a young Moira O'Hara in the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and she played Kaylee in the season's third. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead and Sophie on the NBC series This Is Us. She also voiced of various characters in the animated comedy series Family Guy. Since 2019she has appeared in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10 years old when her mother and she relocated to California [1and a half years ago] where they lived for a year , before moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she began taking an interest in acting, photography and singing. At the age of 15, she relocated with her mother back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
